A saber:
Txus

Undoubtedly the most drawn bug in the bug contest, have been ladybugs. You can see them above.
Aren't they wonderful? A thousand thanks to the participants and their teachers and moms and dads who helped them to make them.
Tell me which one you like best, in the poll above.
Curious things about them, that maybe you didn't know:
Not all of them are red with black dots. In fact there are more than 6000 species. They can be yellow, orange, pink and even black.
In one day they can eat two or three times their body weight. They are very voracious.
They have gone into space. In 1999 NASA sent some quantum rockets to see how they behaved in the absence of gravity. Say it's not cool. Tell your son or daughter to draw an astronaut ladybug.
They have 4 vital phases and undergo a metamorphosis. In the last phase is where they get their cute little wings that all children draw and can flap, mind you, 85 times every second!
There is a simpler little animal to study metamorphosis, which is appearing now and less elusive than ladybugs.
It is also a bug, an insect.
But it is an insect that no longer lives in the wild. It only breeds in domestic conditions. I'm talking about the silkworm.
Last year I did a lot of research on this animal. I filled Villapez with worms.
My danios were jealous. I could feel it.
But the more I researched, the more I was amazed. That's the thing about delving into a subject.
If you simply have small worms and you give them mulberry you can watch and see the metamorphosis. And it's cool.
But if you have them in front of you and someone is talking about those bugs and telling you curiosities about them and suggesting activities, they will freak you out.
This year I'm going to bring out a lot of things about the silkworm so that your kids or students can learn a lot. Namely:
A story that I hope you will be able to buy next week, Bombyx the silkworm.
A silkworm mini-course worth 33 euros. Here you have a breeding module, a life cycle module and 6 activities to observe them better.
Both will be in English as well. I will link them in a few days
Well, you know what to do this spring.
A hug
Txus
