A saber:
Txus

Butterflies have also triumphed among our young artists.
Aren't they wonderful?
I know it's difficult but please tell me which one you like the most:
Most of them have drawn colorful butterflies.
But there is a white butterfly that is also very cool, it is very easy to observe and you can have it in your own home.
It is the silkworm butterfly.
Curious things about them that you might not know:
It can't fly
In its butterfly form it does not feed. Its only function is to reproduce.
The male "smells" a substance from the female called bombicol with his antennae and falls madly in love and then there is nothing to stop him until he conquers his beloved.
Watch in this video what happens when he finds her:
The good news is that it's silkworm season around here in Europe. They are spring animals.
This year I'm going to bring out a lot of things about the silkworm for your kids or students to learn a lot. Namely:
A story that I hope you can buy next week, Bombyx the silkworm.
A silkworm mini-course worth 33 euros. Here you have a breeding module, a life cycle module and 6 activities to observe them better.
A more "fat" silkworm course (110 euros), to become a super expert on silkworms, to do projects in class or at home, to observe them microscopically...
You can buy them in the links above.
Best regards
María
