I want us to look together at the cover of the story of the cormorants.
As you can see, there is a fisherman.
This is a real fisherman. I met him in Halong Bay this spring on my wonderful trip to Vietnam.
When I saw him, I thought, this is a sign for me to finish the cormorant story. I hadn't done it before because I had to find it.
I'm a weird scientist, a bit of a magufa.
The thing is that if you look at it, it's the same silhouette as on the cover.
The cormorant, however, is an addition. Poetic licence, unfortunately I didn't find any cormorants, or birds for that matter, in Halong Bay.
But look at the silhouette.
What do you think the cormorant is doing?
I'll tell you tomorrow.
This is an example of the things I comment on in the audio I've been telling you about these days. I read the story and I relate it to things that you see in the images that are real and why.
This way the children learn and their curiosity is piqued. It is very interesting and typical of these birds what they are doing there.
But be careful, you can only get this audio if you buy the story before 12 o'clock on Sunday 28th July.
