A pies juntillas.
Txus
PD: Tengo curiosidad:
I once read, I don't remember the source, that scientists were more or less atheists according to their understanding of what they were studying. The more amazing and difficult to understand that what they had in front of their eyes could have "made itself", the more they believed in God.
For example, astrophysicists tended to be more believers than biologists. Perhaps seeing the stars makes you more aware of the vastness of the universe and how tiny you are.
I believe in God on Mondays.
To the letter.
Because I can't believe that these eggs that I collect every Monday in my laboratory, which yesterday simply didn't exist, today are 2-4-8-8-1632-thousand cells that know perfectly where to go and what to do to form a fish in 3 days.
It simply seems to me a miracle.
It is a video, a time lapse. I made it with my cell phone and the danioscope.
Please, press play. If it doesn't open in the email, go to the internet or to the substack app and open it. But it's really worth it.
They are the first divisions of a living being. Its first cells.
Those cells know perfectly well what they have to do, how they have to divide, where they have to go, what they will be tomorrow...
After seeing it, think a little about what I have told you.
I collect those eggs today in the morning. In the afternoon, those cells have already formed a ring.
Tomorrow I will show you how the cabbages doing the project receive them.
You can see it in pictures, tomorrow I will show you.
But I assure you that it has nothing to do with seeing it live. If you want to see it in front of you, take a look at this.
This quarter is full, but you can ask for a budget for the next one.
A big hug
María
PS: I'm curious:
