Si andas por Madrid, y quieres ver algo realmente interesante, date una vueltecilla por el Museo de Ciencias Naturales.
Ahí ves un montón de chiquill@s embobados viendo como a Elena, la de la foto convertida en un dibujo animado y haciendo lo que hacen las científicas más guays del universo.
Ir a buscar la verdad allá donde esté.
Como Elena estudia cómo ven las personas, y varó una ballena cerca de su laboratorio, pues pensó. Voy a ver cómo ven las ballenas que seguro que me sirve para entendernos mejor a nosotros mismos.
Y allá que se fue.
Hace unos años hice tres vídeos de sus aventuras. Y ahora los puedes ver en esta preciosa exposición y en Youtube.
Me encanta Elena y todo lo que hace, su energía, sus ballenas, su historia…
Creo que tod@s l@s niñ@s del mundo deben conocerla. Porque es una CIENTÍFICA con mayúsculas y encarna todo lo bueno y bonito que tiene la ciencia.
Ver estas cosas les inspira, les da subidón científico, les hace ver que ell@s también pueden…
Y les entran unas ganas irrefrenables de hacer cosas de científic@. Y esa energía hay que canalizarla.

If you are in Madrid, and you want to see something really interesting, take a little walk around the Museum of Natural Sciences.
There you will see a lot of kids gawking at Elena, the one in the picture turned into a cartoon and doing what the coolest scientists in the universe do.
Going to look for the truth wherever it is.
Since Elena studies how people see, and a whale beached near her lab, she thought. I'm going to see how whales see. And off she went. A few years ago I made three videos of her adventures. And now you can see them in this beautiful exhibition and on Youtube.
I love Elena and all that she does, her energy, her whales, her story....
I think all children around the world should know her. Because she is a SCIENTIST with a capital S and she embodies everything that is good and beautiful about science.
Seeing these things inspires them, gives them a scientific high, makes them see that they can do it too...
And they have an unstoppable desire to do scientific things. And that energy has to be channeled.
