English version below
Helena me va a ayudar.
On Tuesday I recommended a book called Playas mediterráneas, a wonderful book for children to learn about the sea.
And today I would like to recommend another one.
This one is a bit more for you, but you can also read it with your children.
You see, I love bugs. All of them. Even cockroaches. I mean, it's not that I like them, but I find them interesting, an adaptive miracle.
And when I see an animal, I like to know what it is. My dream since I was a little girl was to see a bird flying and to know its name. Now, more than knowing the name, I like to know things about that animal, what stories are behind it, what curiosities it hides...
Anyway, I guess you will have noticed that I talk a lot about animal curiosities here ;)
Well, I started with birds. I'm not a great expert, but let's say I can tell the difference between a swallow, a plane or a swift.
And a couple of years ago he beat us up for the fish. Living in Alicante it's something we can see a lot.
And we have learned a lot about the species we have here with this guide:
It is an illustrated guide that shows you the main species of animals related to the sea (not only fish, but also birds, invertebrates...) Small, you can take it with you to the beach without any problem.
And you'll see that when you go into the sea a couple of times and then come out and look at it and recognise the little fish you've just seen, you'll get a real kick out of it. You and your children if you have them diving with you.
It has an enormous educational value. You respect and take care of what you know. We have to teach them to take care of the sea. It is very very important, and very very beautiful.
A big hug
María
PS: I'm working on the idea of producing a series called Cuentos de animales basados en hechos reales, for children, illustrated, with beautiful stories so that they can get to know them better. Answer me and let me know if you like the idea, ok?
