Mi primera newsleter escrita bajo una mosquitera
My first newsleter written under a mosquito net
Txus
I tell you the situation.
It is 10:30 pm Hanoi time.
I am in Mr. 3's homestay, (literally, Mr Ba's guesthouse, which means 3 in Vietnamese).
And I am writing this newsletter under a mosquito net.
Check it out:
It's the traditional way of sleeping a big room, a mattress on the floor and a mosquito net. My colleagues are out there sleeping behind their curtains, so I don't want to go on too long so as not to disturb them.
I have an exquisite education.
I'm seeing incredible things but I haven't had a moment to tell you about them.
But just so you know, I have yet to tell you about:
Adorable Vietnamese girls who knew Bombyx better than I did.
Of ingenious self-sustainable feeding systems that we have a lot to learn from.
And of dangerous snail infestations from other countries that threaten the precious Vietnamese rice fields.
As soon as I find the time I will tell you about it.
The story the girls watched is this one:

Bombyx, the silkworm (Spanish)
