My father tells me that he doesn't understand my yesterday's newsletter.

Txus.
PD. Ya sabes, like si “vapalibro” ;)
So come on, I'm going to explain it a little bit better.
See, the SARS Cov 2 coronavirus is a little bit like this.
The red balls are called spicules. They are the keys with which the virus enters the cell.
And they are also an easy target for the antibodies, those throwing weapons that are tailor-made by B-lymphocytes.
What was done with the RNA-based vaccine of the coronavirus (those of Phizer and Moderna) was to take the instructions to manufacture only the spicules and make them into a vaccine. In other words, the RNA that had just the information to manufacture these spicules was isolated and injected into half the world.
If the research of Katalin Karikó et al (et al means and collaborators), this could not have been done, because the RNA disintegrated immediately. But she developed a method to protect the RNA.
So, the RNA from the spicules entered our cells.
Our cells manufactured only the spicules.
They taught them to the lymphocytes and these learned to make tailor-made weapons against the most exposed part of the virus.
Play the video to see the tough battle between viruses and lymphocytes that saved humanity.
And bells and whistles, this pandemic is over.
A hug
Best regards
Txus.
Pd, you know, if you think this should go to the book please like it.
