English version below
Adoro a esa familia.

This summer some friends from Malaga came with their 3 children to Alicante. I love that family.
I wanted to show them the best of Alicante, of course. And without a doubt the best thing about Alicante is its beaches.
So I took them to my favorite beach. I was very excited for them to see it in all its splendor, it was June, there were not yet millions of tourists, it was a great day....
Everything looked fantastic.
But when we got to the beach...
It was crawling with jellyfish.
The older ones got in, watching each other's backs, but it was stressful. So we didn't even try with the little ones.
So we stayed on the shore, painted rocks, and looked at the sea.
Of course, with that panorama the beach was empty of humans.
And then we saw a couple of cormorants swimming around.
No fear of jellyfish.
Probably happy about their invasion.
This is my favorite beach because there are millions of fish and the water is completely clear. It's probably the favorite beach of those cormorants for the same reason.
So they started fishing right in front of us giving a wonderful show.
Brutal.
And that's where I told them that incredible thing that cormorants know how to do and that is the basis of the story I hope to have ready soon.
Elena, the oldest of the siblings (6 years old) was fascinated by the story. I told her that I wanted to transform it into a story and as she is an excellent drawer and storyteller she assured me that she would help me.
Shortly after returning home, their mother sent me a wonderful story written and illustrated by Elena. Her drawings, her freshness and her enthusiasm are what are inspiring me to make my own.
Thank you Elena. We will have an edited story very soon.
A big hug
María
