Txus
Yesterday started the day as two cells, remember?
Today it kicks.
Those two cells have been dividing and dividing and then each one has found its place and function in the miniature fish-to-be.
Yesterday afternoon I selected the eggs where the cells had formed a ring.
I put those eggs in a tube and that tube in a warm box.
Alfredo, the delivery man from Nacex came and I kept the poor guy waiting for a while. There were many tubes and many boxes to prepare yesterday.
Inside that tube and that box, the eggs continued to evolve.
Today before 10 a.m., when they arrive at school, the fish head will have formed on one side of the ring. On the other, the tail.
The nervous system will have started to connect with the muscular system and then the first movements will begin.
When you watch the first movements of a zebrafish larva inside its egg, you become hypnotized. It's something you could watch for hours and hours. Here I show it to you in video:
But I assure you that it has nothing to do with watching it live. If you want to see it in front of you, take a look at this.
A big hug
Txus
