When the world was so new that it was about to be released
English version below
Pero te voy a contar cómo he llegado a él.

This story took place at the beginning of time when the world was so new, and animals had just begun to work for man.
In those times, a camel lived in the middle of a very unpleasant desert because he didn't want to work and was also horrid, he was horrible...
Thus begins the second fable of Just so stories. An excellent book was written by Rudyard Kipling, the author of The Jungle Book and the first British writer to be awarded a Nobel Prize.
Can you imagine being in that moment when the world was so new that it was about to open? Just what that phrase evokes in you is incredible.
I am delighted with this book, and I strongly advise you to buy it and, if you have children, read it to them. If you don't, it doesn't matter. Read it yourself because it is lovely.
But I am going to tell you how I got to it.
I am taking a course to write stories for children. If you have yet to notice it, I'll confirm it. I'm hyperactive, a badass, and I don't stop scheming... All that and more. I get tired of being myself. It's exhausting.
But I'm crazy about stories for children. And I've been thinking for a while about writing stories about real animal things that are surprising but told as stories.
And I want to illustrate them myself, based on children's drawings, who are undoubtedly the best artists in the universe.
So, I'm having a lot of fun with this project.
The course is excellent; they tell you a bit of theory, correct you, and suggest improvement.
So, I presented my first draft about a fascinating animal, which I will reveal later. And I told a little bit about my idea.
The teacher liked it. He gave me some excellent advice to improve the story and told me:
-If you're going to do that, you have to read Just so stories. It was mandatory.
-But are they science stories?
-No, they're fables. But they are so beautifully written, they will inspire you a lot.
So, as I am very obedient, I bought the book as soon as I finished the class. And my teacher wasn't wrong, but he was not bad. As I read them, I get a goofy smile on my face. It is a delight.
