English version below.
No sé, piénsalo.
Hoy simplemente olfatea tu cole;)
Un abrazo y feliz vuelta al cole.
Txus
I perfectly remember the smell of the lining of the newly bought books when I was a little girl. And that evokes an incredible feeling of peace, of excitement before a new course begins, before new adventures to come... that somehow accompanies me in every new project I start.
The smell is the sense that evokes the most emotions. This has a neuroanatomical explanation, which Dr. Laura López-Mascaraque describes very well in this video. The processing of a smell is done in the limbic system, the one responsible for emotions. The other senses are "too" rational.
What did going back to school smell like when you were little?
If you arrive at school for the first time today, try to smell a little bit. You have a new school year ahead of you, new adventures, and new opportunities to connect with things you may never have dared but which may hide beautiful discoveries.
It may be the year to approach science differently in your classroom or with your children.
I don't know, think about it.
Even if you've always been afraid of it.
I can guide you on that adventure. Throughout September, I will review the Aprende con Danio projects that can help you approach the world of science, serving as a guide like a book but reaching the limbic system of your students and yours.
On Monday I will write you about the proposals.
Today, just smell your school. ;)
A hug and happy back to school.
